Writing is processed in the browser
The word search, line builder, Show, don’t tell helper and dialogue checker run on the visitor’s device. SaidSense does not intentionally transmit the text entered into these tools to its server, Google AdSense or another advertising provider.
One-line help
The optional one-line helper runs in a sandboxed frame with no direct network access, advertising or persistent text storage. When you allow optional usage measurement, it reports fixed activity and button-use labels to the surrounding app. It sends the surrounding app its display height, fixed navigation choices and, with your permission, fixed usage labels—not your sentence or its results. Ordinary browser requests are still needed to load the website. Browser extensions and device-level input services are outside SaidSense’s control. Copy your choice before closing the workspace.
Browser storage
SaidSense uses local browser storage to remember saved ideas, theme choice and the last word entered. This information remains in that browser until the visitor removes it or clears site data.
Where advertising may appear
Manual Google AdSense units may appear after the Find results, after the completed Build a line learning section and within or after substantial writing guides. Advertising is not placed between a writer’s input and the first outcome. One-line help, the Show, don’t tell helper, Dialogue checker, Saved ideas and privacy pages remain free of advertising.
Google AdSense, cookies and identifiers
Third party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure, limit and protect advertising. Google and its partners may select personalised or non personalised ads according to consent, location and advertising settings. Visitors can learn about Google’s practices through Google’s advertising information and manage personalisation through Google Ads Settings.
Consent management
SaidSense will use a Google certified consent management platform for visitors in regions where this is required, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Consent choices may affect whether personalised, non personalised or limited advertising is served.
Advertising does not receive manuscript text
Ad units are separated from text entry, local rewrites and analysis areas. SaidSense does not add manuscript text, dialogue lines or saved ideas to ad requests. Visitors should nevertheless avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into any online tool.
Optional usage measurement
Where enabled, SaidSense asks your permission to measure feature openings, use actions, copy/save-button actions and estimated active time. It records an approximate country and, for Australian connections, a state or territory. This helps improve SaidSense and plan Authorton. It does not subscribe you to marketing or identify you as a prospective customer.
No manuscript text, search words, selected emotions, result text, names, email addresses, precise location, full URLs or referring URLs are included in these measurement records. We do not use session replay or browser fingerprinting. This usage system does not share writing or usage records with advertising systems.
Cloudflare processes the network connection, including its IP address, to route requests, estimate country/state and protect the service. The application database stores only the coarse location, fixed feature labels, counts and timing, plus a random page-load identifier used briefly to prevent double counting. It does not store the IP address. Hosting/security providers may retain their own operational logs and backups under their terms; this is not a promise that no provider sees an IP address.
The random identifier is kept in page memory, not a tracking cookie or persistent visitor profile. It changes on reload. Your yes/no consent choice is saved in this browser for up to 183 days. Short-lived deduplication rows are removed after approximately 3–4 days; daily aggregated totals are removed after approximately 395–396 days, using a daily scheduled cleanup. Cloud-provider backup retention is separate. Location processing and storage may occur overseas; an Oceania hosting preference is not a guarantee of Australian-only storage.
Timing pauses when the app is hidden or unfocused and after 60 seconds without interaction. It is an estimate, not a recording of what you read. Reports cover consenting, measurable visits—not every visitor or unique person. VPNs, mobile routing, blockers, offline use and unavailable region data can affect coverage and accuracy. We do not infer a missing state from a browser timezone.
Choose “No thanks” or use “Usage privacy” to withdraw future measurement without losing any free tool. Recognised Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals also disable this optional system. Withdrawal stops future collection and clears unsent page data; it does not retroactively erase already aggregated totals. An in-flight request may already have reached the server. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site adds or changes analytics, advertising or other services. The date at the top of the page records the latest published revision.
